Ken Kwek
Writer & Director

Ken Kwek graduated from Cambridge University in 2003 and worked variously as a busboy, bartender, camera assistant and journalist before turning to filmmaking in 2008. His writing credits include The Blue Mansion (2009), Kidnapper (2010), It’s A Great Great World (2011) and Trafficker (2013). He made his directorial debut in 2012 with the short film anthology Sex.Violence.FamilyValues (2012). The film won accolades overseas but was banned in Singapore and Malaysia for its racial and sexual content. Kwek’s first feature UNLUCKY PLAZA premiered at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival and was the Opening Film for the Singapore International Film Festival.

Leon Tong
Producer

An economics graduate from the University of Pennsylvania, Leon Tong is a producer and one of the founding partners of Boku Films. His feature credits include The Maid (2005), Love Story (2006), Rule #1 (2008), Kidnapper (2010), It’s A Great Great World (2011), Robotropolis (2011), Dance Dance Dragon (2012), Battle of The Damned (2013), and the forthcoming The Faith Of Anna Waters.

Kat Goh
Producer

Kat Goh is an award-winning film director and producer, whose feature credits include It’s A Great Great World (2011), Dance Dance Dragon (2012) and the forthcoming The Faith Of Anna Waters. Her first short film Swimming Lesson won the Best Film and Best Director Awards at the 2009 Singapore International Film Festival and garnered the Special Jury Mention Award at the 7th Vladivostok International Film Festival. Goh has previously worked with Singapore director Kelvin Tong as assistant director for The Maid (2005), Love Story (2006), Rule #1 (2008) and Kidnapper (2010).

Michael Zaw
Director of Photography

Michael Zaw is an award-winning cinematographer whose work has appeared in National Geographic, Discovery Network, BBC and Channel NewsAsia. Zaw won the Best Cinematography Award at the Singapore International Film Festival for his work in the short film Timeless (2010). His feature credits include Hotel 69 (2012) and UNLUCKY PLAZA.

Olly Stothert
Editor

Olly Stothert began his editing career in the UK, cutting his teeth in Soho’s ad-land. He has worked on many UK and international commercials and his past clients include Audi, Nintendo and Burger Khan, a Mongolian burger chain. Stothert moved on to feature films in 2013 with Trafficker (2013), UNLUCKY PLAZA and the forthcoming The Faith Of Anna Waters.

Tommy Chan
Art Director

A graduate of Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s School of Film and Media Studies, Tommy Chan is an art director with twelve years of experience in the industry. He has worked with both local and international directors, photographers and productions, including Eine Liebe Im Zeichen Des Drachen (2008), Kidnapper (2010), It’s A Great Great World (2011) and UNLUCKY PLAZA.

Joe Ng
Composer

After an extensive career in the music business in the 1990s as a singer-songwriter for the rock outfit The Padres, Joe Ng found a niche as Singapore’s foremost music director and composer for film and television. His feature credits include Eating Air (1999), The Maid (2005), Love Story (2006), Rule #1 (2008), Kidnapper (2010), It’s A Great, Great World (2011), Bait (2012), Battle Of The Damned (2012), UNLUCKY PLAZA and the forthcoming The Faith Of Anna Waters.

Ting Si Hao
Composer

Ting Si Hao is a Singaporean composer, arranger and music producer. Together with Joe Ng, he has worked on a diverse range of films including Battle Of The Damned (2012) After Images (2014), UNLUCKY PLAZA and the forthcoming The Faith Of Anna Waters.

Irin Lee
Costume Stylist

A graduate from Lasalle College of the Arts in Fashion Design, Irin Lee is a costume designer and image stylist. Her diverse body of work includes feature films, television series, commercials and music videos. Her TV and film credits include “Serangoon Road” (HBO Asia), “The Kitchen Musical” (AXN), The Maid (2005), Kidnapper (2010), It’s A Great, Great World (2011), Battle Of The Damned (2012), UNLUCKY PLAZA and the forthcoming 3688 and The Faith Of Anna Waters.
